Donations are essential to the success of our mission services. Seventy-five percent of our budget comes from the sale of donated goods, and we spend ninety-one cents of every dollar on mission services.
Goodwill Easterseals regularly holds donation drives with schools, businesses, churches, and other not for profit organizations. We will also happily work with your homeowner’s association or apartment complex for a community donation drive.
We have several options for partnering with us:
- We can park one of our branded trucks at your location
- Donation bins can be delivered and left on-site for the duration of the drive
- We can also develop a plan to have employees deliver their donations to our locations and track participation
- For churches and non-profit organizations, we offer our Good Samaritan program which allows your organization to serve more people by collecting donations and receiving vouchers for our stores to hand out to those in need.
Hosting a donation drive is an easy way to get your organization involved in helping our community. We will print promotional materials to be handed out to participants, and we will promote your organization’s partnership with us through our social media and website to give you the recognition you deserve as one of our great community partners.
