Working Solutions is an out-of-school youth program serving Escambia County, AL in a joint project with Easter Seals of Alabama, funded by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). Youth age 16-21 who are not enrolled in school can receive training and guidance that will lead to a GED, post-secondary education or to a permanent job.
Program Managers work closely with youth to identify a career path and the steps necessary to achieve personal and career goals that will lead to long-term self-sufficiency.
Services provided include GED preparation, Work Readine
ss instruction, Career Guidance and linkages to social services and higher education.
