West Mobile residents will now have a place to drop off their recyclable goods. Goodwill Easter Seals, with a grant from Gulf Coast RC&D Council and partnering with Baker High School, Earth Resources, Keep Mobile Beautiful, Mobile County Extension, and Gulf Coast Containers will be accepting recyclables from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the last Saturday of each month at Baker High School. Community volunteers will hand out educational materials and unload goods from vehicles as part of a drive-thru service.
Acceptable goods are:
plastic beverage containers (no lids or caps)
aluminum beverage cans
steel/tin cans
glass
cardboard, and
paper
