Vocational Evaluation: Vocational Evaluators administer a variety of assessment instruments to help individuals referred by other agencies to determine a suitable career path based upon his/her interests, preferences, aptitude, and abilities. Special challenges relating to disability, geographic location, job market and other factors are also taken into consideration. Evaluators help individuals to discover “matches” between their interests and abilities and select job or training areas that would be most appropriate.

Work Adjustment: Work Adjustment services are available at the Administrative Office at 2448 Gordon Smith Drive in Mobile. The goal of Work Adustment is to assess and develop job behaviors that are important to employment success and job retention. Working with individuals referred by the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, Program Managers help participants to develop appropriate work habits including proper communication skills, attention to detail, clocking in/out, staying on task, taking initiative, response to supervision and interaction with co-workers.
